I started making a game around 2020 with Unity, before the pandemic. I never finished it, but spent many hours working on it. I started a blog for it in April 2022 - in the hopes I might share it with people.
I'm sending this abandoned project blog site today to people. If you're here, I'd like it very much if you tell me something nice about my forsaken baby.
The hosting will go offline in a week, so after April 18, 2026 this site will exist no more (I've copied the content already for safekeeping). The blog is disorganized, but just click "Home" and then those small images, they're different posts.
The project itself is a mess, with no working UI, no goals, no gameplay, a messy codebase. But I like how it looks and looked. I might salvage some of it someday.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Credits: All the images in the project are from Unsplash and Pixabay, so they're not my photos. The old paintings are from Rijksmuseum and other non-copyrighted materials. Most of the code is mine: I remember I experimented with early LLM tools to get a multi-image selection blob working, but that's not even included in the blog posts.
